The Rheem "Saturn" Gas Condensing Boiler is yet another example of world class technology providing an energy efficient solution for the household hot water and home heating, be it water based under floor heating or wall mount radiators. The combination of a very energy efficient (condensing) gas appliance connected to the potable hot water through a Rheem calorifier (storage tank with coil) and the use of the same unit to provide either or both under floor and radiator heating make the Rheem Saturn Gas condensing boiler the choice of many of those that use gas as their fuel source.

To ensure all your hot water needs are met, Rheem has two calorifiers, a 180 and a 300 litre. These calorifiers are New Zealand made mains pressure storage cylinders with a heating coil. Both these cylinders include a large 20 kW heat exchanger capable of reheating over 250 litres an hour - every hour. A back up electric element is also included. The glass lined cylinders are designed for the variable water qualities found in New Zealand. As these cylinders are mains pressure, they can supply hot water at over 40 litres per minute - more than most households will ever require.
