ENERGYWISETM Heat Pump Water Heating Grants Scheme
The EECA ENERGYWISETM Heat Pump Water Heater grants scheme is here and homeowners are now eligible for $575* cash back upon installation of an eligible Rheem Heat Pump Water Heater.
Rheem NZ recommends pre-approval due to a limited number of available grants. Pre-approval is available by phoning Rheem Customer Services on 0800 657 336.
To enable a grant to be paid the Homeowner must:
- Have the unit installed by a licensed plumber;
- Install the unit in your (the home owner) primary residential property;

Have the EECA Install Declaration Form correctly completed and sent to Rheem NZ Ltd within 30 days of installation;
- Ensure the installer completes Section 1 of the Install Declaration Form
- Obtain a building consent (where required);
- Provide Proof of Purchase (Attach to the Install Declaration Form);
- Provide return address details for cash back cheque (See Install Declaration Form).
IMPORTANT: Once an eligible Rheem product is selected, call Rheem Customer Services on 0800 657 336 to be sent your grant claim form and the building consent code words – Please read the code words and ensure you have consent if required.
