The Rheem® manifold system is a modular system that can grow and expand as your needs increase. Also, in lesser demand periods, one or more water heaters can be shut down until required again.

Rheem Equa-Flow® Manifolds
The Rheem Equa-Flow® manifold kit is available for multiple installations of up to 8 identical water heaters in a bank. This ensures the water heaters operate together as one to meet peak demand loads. The Rheem® approach to manifolding for large volume hot water applications is widely accepted amongst government bodies, architects and engineers.

The Rheem Equa-Flow® Electric System

Multiple installations on a single manifold of up to 8 water heaters are possible using the Rheem Equa-Flow® System. Water heaters can be installed in a variety of layouts as illustrated. It is essential in all layouts for the cold water inlet to feed into one end of the installation and this must be the end opposite to the hot water outlet. A multiple manifold installation may be used when more than 8 water heaters are required.


The Rheem Equa-Flow® Gas System

Installation
All installations should be in accordance with AG 601, AS 3500.4 and local authority requirements. Attention should be given to the possibility of other plant equipment interfering with the proper operation of the water heater e.g.: induced draught from air-conditioning and ventilation plant. Outdoor water heaters should be installed with the backs to a wall to prevent wind cross flow from interfering with the operation of the water heater.
