THE WATER HEATER SHALL BE A RAYPAK MODEL No. 3694 WITH AN OUTPUT OF 840 kW, AND AN HOURLY GAS CONSUMPTION OF 3692 MJ. IT WILL BE OPERATED ON NATURAL/LPG GAS. THE HEAT EXCHANGER WILL BE OF COPPER FINNED TUBE CONSTRUCTION, EMPLOYING STRAIGHT, SOLID COPPER TUBES WITH EXTRUDED, INTEGRATED FINS. THE TUBES WILL BE SET IN BRONZE HEADERS, WITH THE HEAT EXCHANGER MOUNTED HORIZONTALLY FOR EASY SLIDE OUT SERVICE. THE HORIZONTAL ATMOSPHERIC BURNER TRAY WILL BE HOUSED IN A SEALED COMBUSTION CHAMBER, AND USE TAPERED RIBBON BURNERS. THE WATER HEATER WILL INCORPORATE CERAMIC FIBRE INTERLOCKING INSULATING REFRACTORY PANELS TO REDUCE HEAT LOSSES. THE GAS CONTROLS WILL INCORPORATE A 100% SAFETY SHUT-OFF IN THE EVENT OF FLAME FAILURE. THE WATER HEATER WILL BE FULLY ASSEMBLED AND TESTED IN THE FACTORY.
