Designed and manufactured to meet New Zealand's energy performance standards, Rheem mains pressure electric water heaters (hot water cylinders) are top performers under a wide range of water pressures and conditions. Models are rated at a maximum of 1000 kPA water pressures respectively (depending on the model). They not only operate on mains pressure but are also suitable for unequal or equal low pressure uses. The electric storage water heater (hot water cylinder) can deliver more than 40 litres of hot water a minute, enough to meet the needs of most households. Due to their insulation qualities, the optimum water temperature is maintained longer, saving energy and ultimately saving on your water heating account.

Rheem Optima is a mains pressure electric storage water heater (hot water cylinder) offering a solution to indoor and outdoor installation. With models for all households, the Rheem Optima is designed for long life and attracts a 10 year warranty on the Optima cylinder. With capacities from 180 to 400 litres, the Optima features the benefit of a user adjustable thermostat to control water temperatures. The 300 and 400 litre models are fitted with twin elements, supplying your home with hot water boosting 24 hours a day. As a Rheem Optima is a mains pressure water heater (hot water cylinder), it can deliver over 40 litres of hot water a minute.

With all popular-sized models, Rheem offers three inlets from which to choose from - bottom, left hand or right hand sides. Simply connect existing or new plumbing to the appropriate inlet. Plugs to seal off the unused inlets are supplied with the water heater (hot water cylinder). These water heaters are typically rated for a maximum of 76kPa water pressure. Some "Heavy head" (120kPa) models are also available.

Rheem Integrity is a compact, continuous flow gas water heater with optional temperature controllers and excellent for use where space is at a premium. It doesn't store water - instead it heats water as it passes through the unit, meaning it will virtually never run out of hot water.  There are several different terms used for this style of water heater – califont, tankless, instantaneous. 

Rheem Integrity continuous flow incorporates IQ function, which smoothes out cold pockets and enhances temperature control during frequent use. With Flame Safe™, Rheem continuous flow offers superior built-in safety. Consumer protection is further enhanced with built in diagnostics and operation display status even without controllers. Rheem offers an optional recess box to enable the water heater to be fitted into a wall cavity, or use a pipe skirt to neatly cover the connections.

Changes to the certification of all gasfitting and all installation prescribed electrical work took effect from 1 July 2013. All Rheem Gas Continuous Flow products comply with legislative requirements.

Choosing a Rheem Mains Pressure Gas water heater will ensure an abundant supply of hot water. Due to Rheem's superior design and manufacturing, its range of mains pressure hot water heaters are top performers under variable water pressures and conditions. To underline their flexibility, they operate with mains pressure, unequal pressure and also low pressure. The Rheem mains pressure water heaters are lined with vitreous enamel and are recommended for areas of poor water quality where copper cylinders can sometimes corrode.

With its large 310 litre storage capacity and increased recovery rate, it utilises advanced single-pass top-down heating technology. This revolutionary concept delivers hot water to the top of the tank, heating the tank from the 'top-down' and providing usable hot water faster. Its fast recovery rate minimises Heat Pump operation, extending product life. The Rheem Heat Pump is now packaged as two separate components. These are connected during installation to form a conventional cylindrical shape, on a single footprint. This change makes for simpler handling, delivery and installation. Heat Pump MPi-325

The Rheem MPi-325 is designed with the smaller family in mind, the MPi-325 can provide hot water at a third of the cost of a standard water heater (hot water cylinder). A smaller compressor allows a lower operating noise level making the MPi-325 one of the quietest on the market.The large 325 litre cylinder means the heat pump runs at a constant optimised rate, topping up as water is drawn off. Although the cylinder is 325 litres this system would suit a household using up to 200 - 250 litres of hot water per day. A back up element is also fitted with this model and the simple two piece design allows for easy installation by one person.

Lazer® Commercial

For the Busy Workplace

The Rheem Lazer Commercial is a high capacity boiling water system designed for the demands of a busy workplace, sports club, conference centre and more. The Lazer Commercial range has capacities of 7.5, 10, 15, 25 and 40 litres that can deliver from 50–247 cups of boiling water an hour and 103–241 cups per hour recovery. Available in White and Stainless Steel.

Easy Operation

The features offered by the Commercial range of boiling water units include easy care and operation. The user friendly timer and controls are integrated into the fascia (Stainless Steel or Powder Coat White), leaving the surfaces smooth for cleaning. The control functions automatically return to your settings in the event of a power cut.

Energy Efficient, Smart Technology

The seven day timer ensures you have boiling water at the ready and turns the energy off when boiling water is not required. Sleep mode will turn off the system automatically when it has not been used for a set period of time. Combining the timer and sleep mode can reduce energy use by up to 40% over a normal working week.

Rheem New Zealand manufactures a range of "Zip" overbench product that is filled and switched manually. The unit is filled via an appropriate valve until the required level is reached as viewed in the gauge glass. To boil the water, simply press the manual start switch. The unit will automatically switch off once the water has boiled. Zip units have delivered boiling water tirelessly throughout New Zealand for generations. They are an ideal and economical option for church halls, clubs and factories or anywhere boiling water is required infrequently. Today the Zip product is available in 5 sizes from 4.5 litres to 34 litres.
